The shrine of
Charar-i-Sharief
is dedicated to a Sufi saint named Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (r.a).
Charar-i-Sharief is situated in the district of Budgam, 30 km far from Srinagar. On the way to Yousmarg, you can visit this shrine.
Charar-i-Sharief is one of the oldest shrines in Kashmir, almost 600 years ago the shrine was built, in memory of Nund Resh.
Sheikh sahib during his lifetime come up with the knowledge and importance of silk to the valley of Kashmir. He preached Islam through his poetry. On the birth date of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (r.a), Urs is celebrated and a large number of people come here with great religious faith.
The shrine was badly destroyed in 1995 but reconstructed in some years. The cab booked under the package by
