Pakharpora Shrine

is dedicated to Syed Balkhi (RA). This shrine is situated in the Yousmarg area of Kashmir valley. Syed Balkhi was basically from Balk (an area in Afghanistan). He came to Kashmir back in the 15th century. He was a pious follower of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (r.a). He preached Islam in the whole valley and followed the path of Sheikh sahib.
