is the gateway to the Nubra Valley
and the Shyok Village. It is located at a distance of almost 40 km from Leh by road. It is one of the most enchanting and fantastic passes all over the globe. This pass provides the best views of the Siachen glacier from a distance and the nearby mountains are of Nubra valley. It is situated at an elevation of 5,359 meters above sea level.
This pass is known to be the highest motorable pass all across the globe. This pass is also used to carry goods up to the Siachen Glacier. If you are planning your

If you are visiting this place, make sure that you carry extra woolen clothes, raincoats, medicines, dry food including energy bars, chocolate, dry fruits, etc, sunglasses and sunscreen, durable waterproof boots, fuel cans, water, and portable oxygen cylinders.
To reach this place, you will require a pass if you do not belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The domestic visitors require the Inner Line Permit and the international tourists would require Ladakh Protected Area Permit.

From the Leh airport, it will take you almost 1 hour and 17 minutes to reach here by cab.
If traveling from Srinagar, this route will take you almost 10 hours and 50 minutes.
