Sheikh Hamza Makhdoomi
. This shrine is popularly known as
Makhdoom Sahib. The shrine is situated on the
south side of the Hari Parbat hill
. The shrine offers you a view of the whole Srinagar if you reach the top of
Makhdoom Sahib.
People who visit here have to take almost 80 stairs to reach up to the main shrine. He is also known as
Mehboob-ul-Alam
and Sultaan-ul-Aarifeen
. Most of the time the shrine is filled with locals, but some visitors also visit there to meet their beliefs.
Hazrat sultan is believed to have some saintly powers and people began to follow him because of it. He had got many devotees even after his death, for the shrine is popular for granting wishes of them.
